Hot melt film for textile fabrics
Dibona's hot melt adhesive film, similar to the material used in glue guns, is available in a fabric-like form. It comes in 500′ rolls and can be ordered in widths up to 5′.
This adhesive film is dry to the touch and does not have a backing paper, making it 100% glue with no need to peel off a liner before use.
The hot melt adhesive bonds almost instantly when activated by heat. Without water content, there is virtually no cure time, allowing laminated materials to be cut, drilled, and processed immediately after application. In its raw form, the adhesive film is 6-7 mil thick, but when applied, melted, and compressed, it reduces to 2-3 mil.
The hot melt adhesive film has a longer shelf life compared to many other adhesives. Dibona offers a variety of stock options and can custom-engineer solutions for unique challenges upon request. This adhesive film has successfully bonded a wide range of materials.
