How To Test The Composite Peel Strength Of Aluminum Foil Bags

Leave a message

The detection of the peel strength of aluminum foil bags generally includes the following basic steps:

1. Preparation of test specimens. Remove 50 mm from both ends of the sample in the width direction, and uniformly cut 5 vertical and horizontal samples along the sample width direction [width (15.0+0.1) Mm, length 200 mm. The composite direction is portrait. Pre-peel the composite layer and the substrate 50 mm along the length of the sample, and the peeled part must not have obvious damage. If the sample is not easy to peel off, soak one end of the sample about 20 mm into a suitable solvent for treatment, wait until the solvent is completely volatilized, and then conduct the peel force test. If the composite layer cannot be separated from the base material after this treatment, the test cannot be carried out, and the test report can be obtained directly.

2. State regulation. The sample should be placed in an environment with a temperature of (23)±2)9c and a relative humidity of 45%~55% for more than 4 hours, and then conduct the test in the above environment.

3. Test. Clamp the two ends of the peeled part of the sample on the upper and lower clamps of the testing machine respectively, so that the longitudinal direction of the peeled part of the sample coincides with the line connecting the centers of the upper and lower clamps, and the tension is appropriate. During the test, the unpeeled part is T-shaped with respect to the stretching direction. Start the testing machine and perform the peeling test at a speed of (300) ± 50) mm/min. General equipment can display the force value and the peeling force curve during the peeling process of the sample in real time.

4. At the end of the test, the arithmetic mean value is automatically calculated according to the shape of the curve obtained from the test, and the unit is Newton). Generally expressed as N/15 mm.
